All the Trimmings
With the main dish and veggies sorted. It is the extra side dishes, mouthwatering stuffing variations, and delectable sauces that elevate your Christmas feast to a whole new level of deliciousness!
Hello friends
If its falls to you to cook the Christmas dinner, no doubt you will have decided what will be the main part of the dinner but it’s extra side dishes, mouthwatering stuffing variations, and delectable sauces that weave pure magic into your traditional Christmas dinner.
So, I’m popping in with just a quick reminder that you can find recipes for all the trimmings on Recipes Made Easy (well most, I still haven’t added a recipe for bread sauce!) from the pigs in blankets (make your own they only take minutes and much better and cheaper than the ready prepared ones) to stuffing and cranberry sauce.
Whatever you have for Christmas dinner, the most important thing is to have fun. Don’t worry about being perfect. Things can and do go wrong its not the end of the world. I for one nearly always have something I have made in advance and forgotten to serve, planned to make a dish but ran out of time or something is gets a little overcooked (but never the sprouts now that would be a disaster!) but my guests and yours are not expecting perfection!
Christmas dinner is as much about being around a table with family and friends as it is the food. So long as you enjoy yourself and don't work yourself into a frazzle worrying about the little things you will have a great day. After all, its Christmas!
