I’m officially on holiday this week, so just a quick note this week before I return to the UK.
Back home, we’re having a bumper berry harvest on our little allotment. A long wet spring and the last few weeks of dry hot weather has been perfect for the summer fruit. Huge shout-out to Becs, who’s been picking like crazy and filling up my freezer—thank you!
It seems my fellow allotmenteers are enjoying a great crop too, so I’m guessing it could be a good year for berries all round.
