Brilliant Breads
From the basics to fancy shaped and flavoured bread there is a recipe for you on one of my blogs. You just have to decide which one you want to try first
Hello friends
I hope you have had a good week.
Being the daughter of a master baker, I love good bread. I also love making my own bread be it my easy no-knead sourdough, fancy flavoured bread or something quick and easy like fast soda bread or no yeast flat breads.
This week I got into a long discussion about sourdough starter, called sourdough mothers and what a makes a real sourdough loaf with my Popchoir friends after rehearsal. Menwahile, on the Great British Bake Off it was bread week which is always my favourite challenge to watch ( I wonder why ha ha). which makes this weeks newsletter the perfect opportunity to share with you some of my favourite bread recipes from both Recipes Made Easy and Only Crumbs Remain.
Whether you are a seasoned baker or a complete beginner I’m sure you can find a bread to suit you. Despite the comments made for dramatic purposes on Bake Off, bread making is really quite easy and gets even easier with practice. And it is not as time consuming as you might think. You have to wait for bread to rise if you are using yeast of course, but it doesn’t need constant attention during that time so you can easily crack on with something else or even just take time out to relax while you wait.
That's all for now, until next time, have a delicious week.
