Christmas Bakes
'Tis the season to indulge in a bit of fun festive baking. Let’s explore the magic that emerges from ovens during this most wonderful time of the year.
Hello
In the last few days before Christmas and the time between Christmas and the New Year, when time permits, I love to do some baking just for fun. And because I find baking therapeutic, I always try to make time.
A little bit of baking is a great way to get in the festive mood and nothing warms the heart quite like the aroma of freshly baked delights. I'll make a few favourites like stollen and cinnamon spiced cookies and I usually try to make something new each year as who knows what might become a favourite in future years.
So for this newsletter, I am gathering together some of my favourite festive bakes from both Recipes Made Easy and Only Crumbs Remain in the hope that I can entice you to join me in some festive baking, too.
Until next time, bake deliciously.

Robin Cupcake – Only Crumbs Remain
These fun Christmas robin cupcakes are perfect for the festivities ahead. They're super easy to make, largely being shaped with a plain round cookie cutter, making them a fun bake for children to help with.
Stollen – Recipes Made Easy
A delicious yeasted cake with a log of marzipan hidden inside. Like all yeasted cakes, Stollen takes a bit of time to make, but I can assure you it is worth the effort. Oh, and have you tried it toasted? Divine!

And don’t forget the mince pies
