Easter Baking Bonanza

It's not just hot cross buns! Easter is the perfect time for a little extra baking so you can share some Easter-themed treats with friends and family over the coming long weekend.

Just a quick message from me this week. I don't know about you, but I am super busy at the moment. But I’m going to make sure I find some time to do some baking, as that always takes me to my happy space.

We have a student from Prague living with us at the moment. She has been bringing home hot cross buns that she has been buying from the supermarket, which are okay, but I want her to know what a “real” hot cross bun should taste like. So I shall be making my traditional hot cross buns this year as they are similar to the ones I remember from my childhood, made by my dad in our village bakery. Spicy, fruity, and so much more satisfying than the soft doughy shop-bought imitations of the real thing that have been appearing in our kitchen.
