How to Make Easter Eggs and More
With Easter fast approaching have you considered making your own Easter eggs. Its great fun and not as tricky as you might think.
Hello Friends
I hope you have had a good week. I was a little shocked to realise that Easter is now just 3 weeks away. I love Easter as it gives me an excuse to indulge in some extra baking and all things chocolaty. So, I will be sharing some of my Easter recipes over the next few weeks so you can enjoy them too.
Have you ever made your own Easter eggs? My oldest sister used to make Easter eggs that were sold in our family bakery when I was a little girl. Being a small family business, it was all hands on deck at this time of the year, so she taught me how to make them too, and it was great fun.
The eggs with names on in my How to Make Easter Egg post are similar to the ones we made for the bakery shop, but you can also make more contemporary designs like the ones in the image below with surprising ease.
Inexpensive Easter egg moulds are available in specialist cook shops, craft shops, some large supermarkets and online. So why not have a go yourself?
Until next time have a delicious week.
