TV Snacking and Eurovision
Hello Friends
Another week passes, and it’s time for my next weekly newsletter. I hope you have had a good week.
It’s been a busy week for me as I frantically try catch up with a load of admin, my accounts and other tedious jobs before I am off on my next set of travels.
Tomorrow I am off to our holiday cottages in Suffolk to try get a bit of work done in the gardens before I go, so I am really hoping that the weather stays good for a bit longer. Its been so nice to finally see some sunshine and a bit frustrating that I have spent most of the week at my desk.
This weekend its the Eurovision Song Contest Final. Are you a fan? After a long break I have started watching it again in recent years.
It can be a good excuse to relax and watch with a glass of wine and some nibbles so I thought I would share a few of my recipes that make great TV snacks for you to knock up in a jiffy.
And talking of TV snacking I’ve binge watched Baby Reindeer (who hasn’t!), which has been a bit of a roller coaster of thoughts and emotions. And now the new season of Clarkson’s Farm. While not exactly a huge fan of Jeremy Clarkson himself and putting aside some of the stunts that are purely for Television and no real farmer would try, I do find it a really interesting and informative look at life in the countryside and how some of our food is produced.
Well that’s it for now until next time have a delicious week.

Carrot and goats cheese dip
Dips with vegetable crudities or tortilla chips are ideal for nibbling on in front of the TV.
Beetroot Hummus
A quick and easy dip or light snack. Serve with vegetable sticks, pitta bread or tortilla chips for dipping.
Hot Dogs with Sweet and Sour Onions
Hot dogs are fun to eat and when topped with tons of sticky sweet and sour onions, they are going to be gone in a flash.
Guacamole
Guacamole, as I am sure you know, is a dip made from avocados that originates from Mexico. It is now very popular all around the globe and it is easy to see why. It's quick and easy to make at home and after making it once, you will wonder why you ever used shop bought.
